Meet Kylie...
I think we're all looking for the same thing, really.
A place where we feel welcome.
A place where we can be ourselves.
A place where we belong.
That's why I love gatherings.
Not because of the perfectly folded napkins, the run sheet, or whether the centrepieces match the table linen (although I appreciate a beautifully organised event as much as the next person!).

What fascinates me is what happens when people come together.
The conversations over coffee.
The unexpected connections.
The stories shared around a table.
The moment a room full of strangers starts to feel like a community.
Whether it's a workshop, retreat, conference, celebration or family gathering, those are the moments people remember long after the event is over.
And those are the moments I love helping create.

Sometimes that looks like planning a retreat, workshop or community gathering.

Sometimes it looks like streamlining operations, documenting processes or supporting a business owner behind the scenes.

Different services. Same approach.

Thoughtful planning, genuine collaboration and a focus on creating experiences that make life a little easier for the people I work with.

People often ask how event strategy and business operations ended up under the same umbrella.

For me, they've always been connected.

Whether I'm helping someone design a meaningful gathering or untangle the systems behind their business, the work starts in the same place: understanding what they're trying to create and helping bring that vision to life.

I'm equal parts strategist, organiser and creative thinker. I love seeing the big picture, finding practical solutions and turning ideas into action.
Why both The Art of Gathering and Strategic Support?
Some of my favourite years were spent living in Queenstown, New Zealand, surrounded by mountains, adventure and a wonderfully eclectic mix of locals and travellers from all over the world.

I found myself working in events almost by accident and quickly realised I'd stumbled into something I genuinely loved.

Not because of the spreadsheets (although I do love a spreadsheet!).

Not because of the logistics.

But because I got to play a small part in helping people create meaningful experiences.

One day that might have been a conference.

The next, a wedding.

A community event.

A staff celebration.

A live music event with over a thousand people dancing beneath snow-capped mountains.

Every gathering was different, but the thing I loved most was always the same: the people.
Looking back, it's probably no surprise I ended up here.
My career hasn't followed a neat little roadmap. It's been more of a winding path through hospitality, events, motherhood, business ownership, operations support, and a few unexpected detours along the way.

But somehow, I always found myself coming back to the same thing:

bringing people together.

A few things about me...
-
I'm a mum to Max who's 9, and Maisie who's 7.
-
We can't forget the fur babies! Dexter is our sassy cat, and Cookie our crazy doodle!
-
I'm known for making sure nobody gets forgotten or left out.
-
My playlists are mostly 90s grunge, indie favourites and the occasional pop throwback.
-
I'm also a wife, sister, aunty, and loyal friend.
-
I love creating things, whether that's sewing something from scratch or bringing an event concept to life.
-
You'll usually find me with a giant oat latte which I often don't finish cause I'm always busy doing something!
-
I'm equal parts strategic thinker, creative problem solver and behind-the-scenes organiser.
